If you have a gallon of paint you open a few times on different days the crusties around the lid are going to inevitably end up in your paint. Super frustrating! Don’t dip your paint brush into the can or bucket of paint if it’s 5 gal. If there’s stuff that is on the roller you’re going to get it in your paint. Over time it accumulates in the bucket and then you have a mess and need these filters.Don’t bother washing unless you like lots of paint down the drains unfortunately they’re one time use for me. Don’t wash paint down your sink especially if you’re on septic! And hey painters, don’t wash paint down your customers drains. I’ve caught some of you doing it!

Using these strainers / funnels to filter out crud from solvents I use to clean bike chains. These do a good job of filtering out large contaminants.

Expected it to be as fine as paper filters. Should be redesigned for that.

I use this inside of a larger funnel to filter debris from the solution in my sonic washer. Works great.

Not industrial grade plastic or anything, but like the fact that it's reusable.
