I actually used this material as a sun buffer on my bedroom window. It stuck perfectly to the window and I don't have any pesky sunrays peeking through. Total blackout is what I wanted and total blackout is what I got! Perfecto!!!!!Very very easy to trim and install! I will be buying more for other windows in the house since the value is so high and it does the job that I'm asking for!Absolutely no smell and I do believe the noise reduction is about an 8 out of 10.I'll definitely be back for more!!!!

We used this to insulate home ac ducts. Easy to cut and apply. I would like to find this product in a thicker size as I had to use a double layer in most vents.

I used a 5 inch circle of this material to reduce the loudness of the backup speaker in my Hyundai Tucson. It sounded like a garbage truck backing up. This reduced the volume by 50%. It can still be heard, but it no longer wakes neighbors. The adhesive is strong and feels like it will stand up to use. The only pain is that due to it being in a roll it's hard to get flat to cut it cleanly. Not a big deal, but it keeps the rolled up form until you stick it down.
