You can feel a slight difference with throttle response. Slap an air foil, k&n air filter and you should at least gain 10 hp. Complete it with the throttle body cool and bypass and you will feel a difference. In my opinion but every LT1/ LT4 is different.

My stock cover in metal and I assumed this would be as well. Not an issue though. Fits and functions perfectly.

Unfortunately, this isn’t even close to fitting properly. The holes don’t line up and with a K&N filter, the filter would basically bounce around (up and down) in the housing, rendering it useless for filtering air and potentially causing serious damage to your engine over time.

Heard about this mode for my corvette for a while. Just swap on the stock airbox. In theory, it should have been fine. But unfortunately...and air box cover that doesn't fit the stock air box isn't a good solution. It seemed like the measurements on the cover were a near miss. About 1/2" off on one direction and 1/4" off on the other. Maybe it could be heated with a heat gun and tweaked to fit better. I went and bought an actual CAI.
