This waterer does exactly what it’s supposed to and I haven’t had any issues with leaking.However, it does have some flaws.1) The lid does not really attach. It falls off very easily. 2) It won’t attach tight enough to the cage so I have it sitting on top of a box. I’ve tried hanging it on two different cages with zero luck.These two flaws together have resulted in a pen full of water, 5 unhappy chicks and an annoyed owner whose coffee got cold because she had to clean the pen first thing in the morning unexpectedly.I did end up using the hanging bracket as kind of a security feature after the water spill (see pic) and haven’t had any issues with it being knocked over since. Should have done it from the get go I guess.

This is a great concept but does always stay secured well to our hardware cloth. It could be user error. I like that two different gadgets are included for your chickens to try. When I refill, sometimes the entire water becomes disconnected from where it's affixed. It's certainly easy to remove, not as easy to put back in place. Easy to clean. Keeps the water clean as compared to other types of feeders. The chickens are not all great at figuring out how to use it, however that's a training issue, not reflective of the product. Great option for anyone looking for a clean watering solution of a small amount of chickens, I would say this is a good option to try.

I have many waterers like this however if I could give this product 0 stars I would. The lid will not stay on! What good is a waterer that can’t hold water because it tips over all the time because the chicks try and roost on the top and fall in! I saved two or three from drowning and decided this wasn’t even worth it for my bigger chicks!

I got this to train my chicks to drink from the cross nipple drinker since that's what will be in their coop. The chicks took to it quickly and had problems drinking from it. No leaks. Easy to install. As with other Eggluuz products I've purchased in the past, this one is made of good quality plastic. No complaints. Since this drinker only has one nipple, be sure to provide other sources of water for your chicks. I had 12 chicks in the brooder box and provided 2 other circular trough style waterers asides from this one.

Don't like to give a negative review, but I wouldn't purchase this item again--the lid does not fit securely on the container, which is an important feature for baby chick brooder.....frustrating. :/

Love the concept, cannot seem to find a way to hang it without it being knocked down and spilling everywhere.
