Does a good job on rocks with small pits and cracks in your rock tumbler 🥃.

Used this produce to improve grip on a handle by coating handle with epoxy and sprinkling with Silicon Carbide. Worked great.

Purchased this, and the 4-step refill kit for 15lbs of rocks.... I thought from the photos that there would be nice labels on the bags to tell the different grits apart easily.NOT SO... just a small clear label with small text (cannot read from 5 feet, even with glasses) and a qr code. By sight this looks exactly the same as the 60/90 step 1 grit from the other kit. I don't want to get the two grits confused as there's a huge difference in how much they cut.... SO I will have to make my own labels.Other than that, seems to be a good product.EDIT: ran a 4-day tumble on step 1 with Nat Geo tumbler on speed 3 with this grit. Not any more effective than a 48 hour tumble, grit breaks down pretty quickly, and by day 4, once the grit was washed and dried, it feels about the same as 400 grit and only about 1/3 of it remaining, rest was broken up small enough to wash away with the rinse. Gonna try it again on speed 1 & see if that makes a difference in how long it lasts.

Works well for the purpose intended. Will probably buy again

Really good grit for tumbling glass, it's frosted & sharp edges are gone in 2-3 days.

it does the job pretty good, I use it in a tumbler to "sand" large pieces instead to have to sand by hand.

Seems okay but not as dramatic a result as hoping for. Do wish I had shopped around for a better price. The instructions are nice to have.

I tried to replace National Geographic's grit with this brand, epic fail. It was shipped a bag within a bag and leaked.
