Very solid product. I needed a grommet for the side wall of a kitchen cabinet, and I didn't want one that always fell out. This installed easily, and fits snugly with no danger of falling out - exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product! This is the neatest and most functional home improvement item I have purchased in a long while! I hate wires hanging from the expensive flat screen tv it looks sloppy and lazy! I bought 2 of these one for the top and one for the bottom, they are not sold in pairs. The installation was simple but I want to walk you through my experience to maybe help you avoid some things that could have derailed my project. You do not have to push the hole saw as hard as you think, let the saw do the work because there could be wires in that wall that can get cut by the hole saw! Place your hole at least 4 inches or more from the stud. Remember the wires in the wall usually are attached to the stud so give them space. The bottom hole should be up at least 4 inches from the actual electrical outlet in the wall, wires sometimes run horizontally through the wall. There might be a brace in the middle of your two studs where you put your holes, you might want to use a stud finder to see if one exists before drilling holes in your wall, if so you might not be able to pass the wires through it. I got lucky my apartment was built cheaply and didn’t have the stud bracing because I didn’t think about there might be a brace between the studs. When you place the grommets into the hole only put the rear circle of the grommet into the drywall circle in other words don’t push it all the way into the wall, how will you tighten it? If you only put the outer circle that screws onto the grommet into the actual cutout drywall hole then you can hold it while you turn the inner grommet to tighten it. The last thing is if you have a old coat hanger that helps to insert the wires into each hole as a guide, start from whatever hole you want. Run the wires before you put the grommets into place for an easier time and less fiddling. I hope my follies and solutions will save you time and frustration because the end result is really pleasing to the eye!

Sturdy grommet that worked perfectly for routing home theatre wires. Be sure to use the correct size hole saw.

These work well and are easy to install. Price is quite high but I'd buy them again when needed...unless, of course, their price hasn't driven them out of the market.

This "grommet" or perhaps better pass-thru does a lovely neat job. I think I read somewhere that the best hole saw size was 2 3/8 (60 mm) dia. so that is what I used. The in-wall part of the bush slid in very nicely with this size of hole. There were no printed instructions, but a reference to the company website - TwistLockGrommet dot com. There you will find a very nice video explaining exactly how to install the unit. My tricky part was getting the "ears" to not protrude out further than the barrel, and hence the size of the hole. To achieve this you have to unscrew the locking part until it is almost falling off the threads. Tightening is smooth and easy.

It works but the plastic feels super cheap and flimsy.
