These are great for people who like to pick at things. Small bits of the silicone (?) comes off too when you pick a bead out but this isn’t an issue. The beads are very small, so you have to work get some of them out. Great for fine motor skills too. There was a plastic like smell at first but that went away. Overall these are great and we’ll be buying more.

Here's your text turned into a review:---I bought these for my daughter, who struggles with anxiety when sitting still, and she absolutely loves them. She finds them very therapeutic to use, and they also help satisfy her urge to pick her nails.Her only complaint is that she has to carry the set in a little pouch to hold all the beads she picks out; otherwise, the floor is covered in beads when she’s finished.I wouldn’t recommend these for young children due to the small beads, but they’ve been great for my daughter and have really helped with her anxiety.

I thought I found a picky pad for a student I have. Sadly it got ripped up in the first use. She wanted one for anxiety relief due to her IEP qualifications. The pad is not very sticky and easily broke apart. I could not remelt it. In some ways this anxiety relief tool is causing me more anxiety... If I could return it I would in a heartbeat.

In theory these would be so helpful. My problem is I can’t get myself to destroy these beautiful/cool things. And then where do you put all the gazillion little beads you rip off? That in itself gives me anxiety. Will the nieces choke on them will the vacuum brake trying to pick them up what if they somehow get in my food and clog my ileostomy?! Ahhhh. But other than that… these things are rad!

I bought this product to help with compulsive skin picking and stimming.Personally, it has definitely helped more than some other fidget toys I've tried.I've had someone younger try it and they went through it much quicker than I did (you can see the hole in the picture). I suppose it varies from person to person how quickly it will be used up.My only complaint is the silicone. When picking, you will inevitably pick off small pieces of the silicone. It sticks to your hands and is a bit harder to clean up; even using a plastic tub like I did.
