I came across this for laser projects and with the price, thought I would give it a try. I was pleases when I opened it up to find such a high quality product for such a great deal. This is a heavy, solid copper bar stock and it's packaged well with a high shine and absolutely ZERO scratches. This would work well for different applications from jewelry projects to home renovations and electrical work. It's packaged with care and will work just fine for my needs. Great find.

This looks to be good quality copper bar. It is sheared to length and the side edges are rounded. There is a slight lengthwise curvature that indicates these were cut from a roll. This copper makes an excellent backing plate for welding thin material. Also can be used for making electrical buss bars, tie straps and more. Very handy to have in the shop for such chores.

While this copper bar is indeed made of copper, it falls short of the expectations set by the product description. First, the bar's edges are rounded rather than square, unlike what the product image (a computer-generated one) suggests. Additionally, the bar's width is 1/32" shy of the advertised 2", and its thickness is also under the claimed 1/4". For the price ($29), I expected dimensional accuracy. If precision is important to your project, I recommend looking elsewhere.
