The original cover for my NuTone 671 bathroom vent unit is made of a brittle/hard plastic that has yellowed with age. Time to replace.This unit has a larger face, but the hinge locations are compatible with my fan unit housing.The two sets of included springs did not work without modification. The springs push out to hold itself in place. However, in order to push out, it needs to clear the insertion slit. Simply measure the depth from the flush face to the slit where you insert the clips into. There you will bed each spring at the depth and correct/straighten the factory bend. Once you do this, simple insert and push up. Done.He material is like the electrical face plates that are labeled 'unbreakable". It has a lot of flex and looks like it'll retain the white over time.

Uses a more secure attachment than other models. Color is cream colored. Will need to paint to match white ceiling color.

Bought this because our stores don't carry larger covers even though they sell larger exhaust fans..... It comes with 2 different sizes of clips and a pair of gloves. But we had to use our old covers clips not really sure what was going on but the ones sent keep sliding down so cover kept just hanging there. But it works for us it was still a great deal for what we spent so no complaint. Just don't throw out your old cover until you try this one out just in case you have our same issue.

Nice looking and fits as it should but as others have mentioned, it is not white. It has a pink/purple hue to it, not as described.
