This ignition switch works fine. I included photos and you can see the plug is slightly different than the original but it still fits. I included a photo of the socket so you can see how they interconnect. It plugged right in and switched on my 2012 Rincon. I will update if there are any durability issues but it seems well built compared to the original and snaps right into the meter cover.

Bought a 2012 Honda Rancher 420 and it only came with 1 key. Keyhole opening looked mangled already probably by a screwdriver so I thought it was a good idea to replace it. It was an exact fit, no issues. Install is a PITA, have to remove the front rack, front plastic, which is connected to side plastic and inner fenders, etc but that's not the fault of the ignition switch. Everything plugged up perfect and wire length was the same as OEM. Worth the money

This was for my 2012 Honda Rancher. I liked the plug and play instalation but the down side is after 3-4 weeks the ignition shorted out, draining my battery. The key has to be giggled to make connection and the switch no longer makes contact for the lights.

Look at pictures. The rectangular holes are the original’s. The moon-shaped holes are this 1PZ’s. But it still plugs into the OEM harness. Atv starts up now. Yay!
