Firstly I do not know why I would need three of these... so OK, I give two to friends for Christmas.The magnet is strong, it doesn't move around. However the seam width is not for quilters as the flat side can't hold the fabric in place (however I wasn't really expecting it to). For regular seams it works well, as well as for rounded seams (think arm holes etc.). I use it for topstitching vinyl or grosgrain belts (so narrow seams) and it holds well for that purpose and means I can sew up and down the 2 yards quite fast without wobbling!
