Plug and play, sure, there were a few video problems at first, screen stuff, audio stuff, but everything worked perfectly! Remember, this contraption is designed for one in and three out. Meaning, if you have a firestick or such, plug into your firestick and plug in your HDMI cables to three television sets. Pretty easy. The audio works but depending on your television, you can play with sound. But, it does have SOUND. All television sets. This means I can use my Firestick with ALL PLATFORMS. Above all, this is a 5 star system so far. I had no real problems except for the fact that once all televisions caught up, smooth sailing.

I read some other reviews and decided to give these a go and I’m very happy to say that it works perfectly with no problems whatsoever with the install. I have a 4k dish Joey that I wanted to split between two different types of tvs. One is an 80 inch Visio. The other a 42 inch Visio. One with a sound bar and the other does not. One is 4k and the smaller one is bathroom tv and only a 780p. It works perfectly even if on or the other tv is on or off. I liked its performance so much I bought two more for other applications

I have had a splitter for years. I use my TVs for display only. My Denon receiver for HDMI switching. So i split the signal out of the Denon to my main 75 inch TV and the cheap 45 inch in the kitchen. It is the worst possible scenario. 100 ft cable to the kitchen. 6 foot to the main. 4k HDR on one, no HDR on the other. The old one was extremely finicky. This one eliminated all the issues for 20 bucks.

After a while (a week or more) the unit may sometimes fail to produce any video output. If you're using this is an environment where the unit is hard to reach it will be annoying to have to go back and unplug and replug it every once in a while. You get what you pay for. In this price range you won't find many better options. If you want to get something nicer, look for A) name brand, and B) to spend a few more bucks than this.I'm satisfied with it for my use case, which is an art installation. I simply unplug and replug the power cable when the unit occasionally fails to output video. 3/5.And for those of you for whom this matters, it does support HDCP up to 1080p, I haven't tested any higher. Some devices like Chromecast, Blu Ray, and HD Set Top Boxes require HDCP to output in full resolution.
