This is such a simple but elegant solution if you donΓ’β¬β’t have 4in dust collection and are using say a shop vac with a 2 1/2in hose. It is a 3d printed part however, it mustΓ’β¬β’ve been printed on a very high quality printer as youΓ’β¬β’d think it were injection molded. Make sure to clean the planer side first as the tolerances are very tight and even a little dust may not allow it to slip on. ItΓ’β¬β’s a very tight fit. Very happy with my purchase!

I was pleased that this is available, and it fit well over the port. I wish it were just a bit longer so that the 2 1/2" had more support. It is a bit pricey.

I received another brand adapter (made in China) and it would not fit my ShopVac. I returned that one and ordered this one (made in USA), and it fits perfectly! It only comes with the one yellow piece and is made to attach to the larger vacuum adapter that came with the planer. It's a snug fit, but works great.

I have a rigid wetvac that I use for air filtration and the existing hose didn't quite fit the connector on the DW735. With this hose adapter the hose now fits perfectly.

This product arrived quickly and is a perfect fit for my Dewalt 735 planer. I use it in conjunction with a regular shop vacuum (a big Ridgid vac in my case) fits the hose perfectly and itΓ’β¬β’s a nice tight fit that doesnΓ’β¬β’t pop off. I used to use chip ejection into a bin but this makes the whole process more portable and cleaner. Highly reccomended!

The adapter fits perfectly on my DW735 and looks like an OEM product. It doesn't impede the chip flow at all. Very pleased with the product.
