We just had a new built-in unit installed in our family room and wanted to be able to add a coffee maker and other "hot plate" fixtures on the countertop when we have guests. So, I drilled a few 2" round holes strategically through the laminate and purchased these matching 2-inch "grommets" with flush caps to finish them off. Perfect! Nothing shows when the countertop is bare, and no wires show when we're busy with coffee brewing and meatballs bubbling. It all looks great and the wires stay hidden and out of the way. And the price? Bubka's.

Used a hole saw, and then put the ring in. The lib made the edge look good. Ran cables through, then put the cap on. Nice clean look. Functioned great. Would buy again.
