It was easy to program and works well. When I got the remotes, I removed the two screws on either side of the visor clip on the back. No need to remove the clip. I did before I realized it wasn’t necessary. Remove the back and turn it over to expose the 9 switches. Match the switch positions to your current remote, replace the back cover and that’s it! Both remotes opened the front gate from the house which is about 120’ away. Very pleased. I was able to program it myself without asking the husband for help. I feel like I got my money’s worth.

I ordered two sets of these mini gate openers as we have four residents who need access to the gate. So far they are all working quite well and were simple to program/set-up. They are much smaller than I expected, more like the size of a key fob but I actually like the size better than the older large remotes.

these were supper cheap compared to buying replacement units from home depot. they worked perfectly.all you have to do is match the switches inside to match the original.remote.

I discovered you can only program one at a time. Meaning do not have both with you when your in front of gate electronics. For some reason the gate detects both remotes thus will not program just one. When I took one remote back into house the gate did program the one I had in my hand. Then I took the programed one back inside and returned with the other and successfully programmed it as well.
