Purchased for us to take purified drinking water camping. It took a little less than 2 gallons, but works perfectly with my USB water pump.

The water we get out of the faucets is highly mineralized because of our location. It also has fluoride, which is a standard USA thing. Normally, our house uses a standing, Hot and Cold water cooler that is bottom loading with the large 5 gallon jugs. It's in the kitchen/living room area. We live in a desert and wanted something lighter weight that everyone in the house could pick up, plus it could use the emergency, manual water pump we had bought recently. When the power is out, you still need water when it's 125F/52C! We've been using it on our bathroom counter to fill our cat water dishes for now so we could see how well it performs and get used to using it. The bottle mouth size opening is the same as the 3 and 5 gallon jugs, so the manual water pump has no issues.

Out of 5 bottles three were damaged because they were not packed properly. Look like they had been hit by something and they were dented
