Needle does a great job of holding the leather lace while you stitch. Definitely easier to use than the traditional long, awkward awl tool.

Only downside for these needles is they are on the shorter end. Just needed to push them through a little further. Pros and cons to shorter needles. Overall only one section of the web needed to push through their entire length.
