Full time mechanic here - Thing thing rocks.For how cheap it is, I can buy 7, yes, 7 for the LESS than the price of the Snap-On kit! Their cheaper brand Blue Point sells a similar kit for the price of 5-6 of these!And you know what? I bought this while warranting my Snap-On vacuum gauge kit, I ended up trading in the Snap-On. Why? This is just better. It's clearly made super well, the switchover collet for the pressure/vacuum operation is super smooth. It pulls really, really strong vacuum, and it can make over 40PSI of pressure! You can test high pressure components in turbo/supercharged vehicles! Say you have an EVAP purge valve you have to test, on a turbo vehicle, they have to resist intake pressure. Most gauges can't pressurize, this one can and it does it very well.I also used it to bleed brakes and it really, really pulls fluid through fast. I was very impressed by how well it worked.Sure, the accessories and hose are cheap, but those are all cheap in any kit you buy.Overall this is WELL worth the money, I don't care if it has no branding on it, it's a good tool and for the price I'll just keep a spare around, and it doesn't add to the tool truck debt.

Tool seems well built & holds vacuum. I haven't tested the accuracy of the guage yet. The typos in the instructions progressively get worse the further you get into them. Let's hope it's a language barrier thing & not a indicator of poor quality tools.

Attempted to use this item and it performed poorly. Seals in the pump itself were no good, and the included adapters did not ensure a snug fit. I was able to extract a bit of fluid but probably ended up making things worse than they were with all of the air it introduced into the system.Instructions included provided a bit of entertainment as they were laughable with tons of typographical errors.Luckily this was inexpensive so I discarded it.

After chasing a recurring problem where my clutch would sink to the floor, I determined air was the culprit. After various attempts to bleed it using the 2 person method, the problem persisted. I bought this tool in a last ditch attempt before replacing parts. It worked! I was able to pull and hold a good vacuum on my slave cylinder and extract every last bit of air out of the system and resolve the issue. I subsequently used it to replace fluid and bleed brakes and it worked great! The build quality is fine, and I am certain it will hold up to the occasional use of a DIYer. Great value!
