The bottom portion definitely did the trick of cleaning well. I did however have a hard time with assembly. It was difficult to attach the handle because of the tight fit. I ended up having to get my Husband to attach the handle and even still he did not fully connect all of the pieces. We still managed to use it to clean the shower well.

The brush head itself is nice. The handle is in pieces and all links together but not very good so it wobbles and can come apart easily. My 4 yr old takes it apart all the time. Matter of time before the pieces get lost.
