- Our Dematting Razor Comb can accurately target and break apart tougher mats, tangles or debris. The Dematting Razor's long, curved teeth glide safely behind the mat while protecting the skin with its rounded tips. Using a gentle motion, cut through the mat or tangle without excessive pulling.
- The Detangling Come with it's alternate length teeth should then be used to gently remove hair and debris. Gradually angle the Comb to engage the more finely spaced teeth to remove any loose hair. The dual length comb can be used on a variety of fur types for general daily grooming as well!

We have several cats 4 having long hair. We let the cats go in and out when they want and and seem to find every burr stick tight then play in the rain. The long toothed comb works well on matted hair. My favorite though is the one designed especially for burrs. Don't get in a hurry when using these or you run chance of poking the teeth into your animal. Slow and steady and every bit of matted hair and burr, will be gone in no time, make sure to keep something handy to collect the hair, especially when using the deshedding tool or it will fly every where. I have an assortment of combs and brushes but hubby and I both favor these. Very worth the price as well.

Use it to prevent matting on my long hair Aussie - works well especially right behind and below ears. Sturdy - would buy again if needed Price is great too.

My shih tzu has a very thick coat and this works well to remove the excess hair.My dog is a chewer and easily chewed rubber handle.

This set is much better than what I'd been using before. We have 2 shorthair cats and 1 longhair. The longhair did not like to be combed & brushed when snags were there, but this set works through them more easily. For us, it was worth ordering. It does make the task of keeping the fur smooth much easier for the cat and for me!

This is a great set of grooming tools. I use them on cats. The de-shedding rake & the comb get out amazing amounts of loose fur from my cats, much more so than combs & brushes that I have tried in the past. The curved, scythe-like tool, which is supposed to cut through matted clumps, did help a little, but overall I like the other two tools more. The long-haired cat still experiences hair-pulling, but this is beginning to improve since I have been able to remove so much loose fur. The rake & comb glide through the short-haired cat's coat, & also remove amazing amounts of loose fur. Best of all, the whole set costs less than buying just one de-shedder at a brick-and-mortar store.

I wanted something to cut through mats. These are not these combs. But as regular combs for untangled hair, they work.
