I recently purchased the 3 Inch Alphabet Letter Stencils for Painting, and they proved to be just what I needed for a clock makeover project. These stencils are of excellent quality and performed flawlessly.The stencils allowed me to paint different numbers on a clock I wanted to update, and the results were fantastic. The stencils held in place well, ensuring that my painting was neat and tidy, though I taped them down just to be safe and I'd recommend others do the same. To anyone who is new to stenciling (like myself), please let me share with you the one thing I learned that has made ALL the difference in the quality of my stenciling projects: the key to crisp borders/clean lines is STENCIL ADHESIVE!! It’s a game changer (I’ll add a bit more about stencil adhesive at the end for anyone interested).I bought these these stencils to add monograms to burlap drawstring gift bags- for my family’s Christmas gifts. They turned out great! Instead of gift tags, I just stenciled each person’s initials on their bag. After adding bows made from moss green ribbon & twine, the bags were a perfect mix of rustic and chic. They looked beautiful under the tree. Plus everyone got a custom bag to reuse however they see fit. I was so happy with the result that I went on a bit of a monogramming spree at my house (tea towels, canvas shopping/tote bags, dog collars, etc).Now, for my fellow novice stencilers; here is what I have learned about stencil adhesive: it is a tacky/repositionable glue that holds your stencil in place and creates a barrier that prevents paint/ink from spreading beyond the border of the cutout design. It comes as a spray or in liquid form (to be painted/brushed onto the stencil). I used a product called Pixie Spray; it worked like a charm, but you may want to research what works best for the mediums your are using. Good Luck!

They are nice sized letters for what I wanted them for! The only thing is that some of the larger letters are hard to read. The smaller ones are okay. Easy to trace, the plastic is pretty good not to soft but durable. I’m happy with mine!

These are nicely made but at you can see by my coaster they’re not 4 inches so now have to look for more. I have measured my coaster’s before I ordered and they are 4 inches. I planned to do woodburning on them but I guess I’ll have to wait longer
