The head gasket failed on my car and just from working on vehicles I knew that there'd be some gasket material in other gunk between all mating surfaces. That material would have to be cleaned prior to installation, and I found some mechanics using 3M Roloc discs in order expedite the process. These items are just the holders for those discs. The discs screw into the holder, which you then insert into a screwdriver or air tool. These holders, even though not 3M branded product, hold the the discs perfectly fine.

Bought these for extras to use on multiple air tools. Thy are perfect for my needs. They are rubber so they flex unlike some that are hard plastic.

The pads fit and stay nicely. However, I couldn't us ethe back of the pad because the holder covers too much. However, I just took it to the grinder and grinded it down and had 0 problems.
