Apologies for the shadow on the car in the photo, my driveway has constant cover throughout the day and it doesn't really do the end result justice. This tape was really easy to use and, in my opinion, worth the cost above other brands. It sticks very well to chrome after a good cleaning with alcohol and tucks nicely under the weather stripping as long as you plan the amount of 'overhang' just right. This was my first time doing a chrome delete and anything larger than a badge and my third time ever wrapping anything. I did fail three times before I got the first door right, mainly because I kept trimming the vinyl to much and exposing the chrome - no fault of the product there. It's just thick enough to be durable but thin enough to be easy to work with - on a warm enough day, no heat gun required but I would hit some areas with extra heat to get the adhesive to bond better.I did the rear small window with a different brand and it was not as cooperative. In hindsight, I would have picked up another roll of the 4" for that but since I got the 2" (honestly, 1" would have been wide enough for the chrome trim on the doors of my 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback), I needed a larger sheet of the other stuff. This tape worked so much better than the other brand of normal sheet but I made that work because I have to. I have a feeling that one will go first and I'll end up redoing it, in which case I will definitely pick up the 4" roll of this.

23 4Runner Limited. After obtaining a quote to chrome delete rocker panels chrome trim and rear bumper chrome trim I decided to try wrapping myself. For a fraction of the shop quote I was able to apply wrap. Watched a few YouTube videos. Took my time. Pleased with result. Am sure will be better next time. Curious on how long will last. Will see. Good value.

I ordered the 25ft thinking that would be enough for my Model 3 - it was not. I got one side mostly done (all but the mirror) and then about half of the other side done and ran out of tape. If you have a Tesla, order the 50ft roll, that will be enough for both sides of the car (4 doors, mirrors, and the door handles if you want those done too)

Quality is good, adhesion is good, color is right. Installation is user error if you have an issue. Thickness is perfect. Has A clear plastic thin film over the vinyl beside to remove before cutting as it is a pain in the ass todo so while installing. For anyone who has a MB Coupe you will need 2 rolls as 25’ did not work for all trim. Also the knife it comes with is trash get an Xacto knife or whatever they’re called works best.

I installed this on my SUV on the chrome lining around the windows. I wanted it to be all black with no chrome and it was such an easy process. There are accessories that are needed to purchase with this but as for the tape, this is definitely the right one to get you to do a chrome delete.

Used these rolls to wrap the silver trim on my BMW and it’s super easy to work with and with some heat it can be stretched or molded as needed. This 3M wrap is thicker and less prone to bubbles and wrinkles. Highly recommended for window trim wrapping

I previously installed a Vvivid vinyl blackout kit on my trim. It was somewhat difficult to install and required a bunch of heating to follow the contours of the window trim, but it worked. After a few months, it shrank back, and after a year it was peeling off.I can't speak to the longevity of the 3M vinyl, but the installation bodes well. The 3M material feels thicker but is more flexible, requiring no heat to follow the contours of my windows. Since it didn't need to be heated, it didn't shrink back after a month of temperature fluctuations. The adhesive feels stronger and the process was easier. The knife provided is useless for anything but cutting yourself. I recommend taping it shut and tossing it. Squeegees are always good to have, but on something this narrow you probably don't need one.Just buy a roll long enough for extra because the process takes time and patience. You'll likely mess up one or two sections along the way.Knifeless tape is a game-changer so you don't need to put a sharp knife against your chrome plastic.Watch some tutorials, prep your surface, take your time, apply in a warm, clean environment, and be kind/patient with yourself if you're not intimately familiar with vinyl wrapping.

I’m so glad I went with this tape and not the cheaper options. It was SUPER easy to apply and cut out. I will say, the knife it comes with is not the sharpest, but I really didn’t have any issues with it. I love the way that this looks - and it was my first time doing it! I ended up having some extra tape left so I’m hunting for what to wrap up next lol.
