The chain it comes with to hook to your mirror was too long. It mentioned being able to cut the extra length but it was easier to just swap it out for one I had around the house. It’s still tricky to get your fingers into the space to secure it but after a few minutes, I got it. It performs well and will keep my placard from getting more beat up. Don’t know if it’s worth that cost, but but I didn’t see an alternative.

I have had a disability placard for about a decade, and it was always annoying to put up the placard with the very thick stalk on the rearview mirror in my Ford Explorer, so when I saw these on Amazon, I thought "what the heck, why not?"These things make it incredibly easy to put up the placard when you park and to remove it when you start to drive (like you are supposed to do). I put one in my Explorer and one in my Wife's Grand Caravan. Wear and tear on my disability placards has basically gone to zero, so I don't expect the hooks to wear out and break this time around.I will probably buy some of these as gifts for other folks I know use placards.
