I mounted this in the corner of our kitchen since that gives a full view of the downstairs and both entrances into the house. The first thing I noticed is that the adhesive stuck to the wall very well (did not clean the wall first). It didn't slide around, which I tried doing because a lot of adhesives will not stick well and just slide which usually indicates it will fall off and this one didn't do that. I still secured it with the included dry wall anchors and screws as well just to be sure. My only complaint about this mount would be that the bracket is slightly bulky which gives you only a little room to adjust the angle at which the camera is pointing (up/down or side/side). I think with the next one I'll try ceiling mounting it upside down and flipping the camera view. with the stand on the bottom I think I'll get a little more freedom to adjust the angle since it's flat rather than rounded when the stand is mounted on the back of the camera to slide into the guide on the mounting bracket.
