I used these to support shelf unit for a 86 in tv. I welded the stand together and used these between the shelves to support the weight of the tv. Worked great

Used these as leveling legs on baker scaffold with muffler clamps. Have not tried yet.

My old jacks you can raise and lower by adjusting nut. These ones the bottom is threaded you have to adjust to desired height and then the nut locks it . It will work by bringing and another jack old style raised it a little higher than desired slip this one in and lowering it down.

Got this to be used a camper slide out floor support when the slide room is all in, so to protect the slide rails as driving can make the heavy room to bounce and put a strain on the slide mechanism. But, this little tool extends by spinning one of its sides, which means, either the top side or the bottom side will spin, either on the camper main floor on under the slide floor. That's a bummer. So I need a similar tool, in which I can spin a center nut, and the two extendable rods will move apart from each other without spinning. Also, I need to say, it is not very well built, as the top and botton plates are welded not exactly 90 degrees, and are sliglty bent. I thought it may have been an accident falling causing this, but a close examination shows they are actually welded this way. Not good.

The writeup on these led me to believe that they were "on the fly" adjustable. They're not. You have to re-jack, adjust then remove the jack again...
