Once in a while you get lucky and find a solid, durable product for a low price. These rod holders are one of those things. You can't beat the price or quality, they look and work great on my Yak, very pleased! Just note that you're going to need very long rivets to install them, so prepare accordingly. I definitely recommend

We'll see how these hold up but look good.They do sort of 'lock in place', no different than typical for mounts w/o the positive sliding apparatus.ALSO ... the mounts have the same hole spacing (1-5/16' x 3-3/16) as Scotty mounts so they will bolt directly to the Scotty 341-BK glue-on mounts for inflatables (dinghy, kayak, float tube, etc.).

Ich habe zwei Halter auf einem WPC Brett auf einem Kajak angebracht und beide Ruten blieben bei Wind und Wellen stabil. Die Halter können sowohl von oben als auch seitlich angebracht werden. Montagematerial war dabei, für den Preis super.

These rodholders work perfectly. Very easy to install and very easy to use. There made of a rugged plastic and should last a very long time. Yes I definitely recommend these rodholders.
