These are not the "soft sticky rubber" we hoped, rather a "barely sticky" plastic.They kinda stick to the sealed-cardboard packaging, as well as laminate counter tops or finished wood tables.They do not stick to Subaru Ascent/Forester dashboards, or a Nissan Frontier.Wish we never bought these.

Works well for me. The top of my dashboard is flat and nothing slides. My wife's vehicle has an uneven dash layout and items still stay in place.

It doesn't stick very well to my dash. It slides around. I think I'll have to spray it underneath with adhesive spray to get it to stay put.

Mats do not stick to any surface they attach to. The mats slide on the dashboard.
