I use this to cut chunks off of cheese blocks. Works well and easy to clean. Not what I would use for thin slices.

Disappointed in the function of these cheese slicers, design all wrong, the handle needs to be shorter to have more control of downward motion to slice the cheese and to lessen the force/pressure of motion in the wire. I bet after a few uses the wire will snap. My old one gave out, wire snapped after 40 years! I should have kept it And purchased some stainless steel wire! Shame in me!!! No control of thickness of slices, start of slice is perfect then as you are slicing it gets thicker and looks messy. My cheese was mild cheddar any harder style cheese I bet it won't cut and the wire will snap, why seller a pair haha joke on buyer as I'm confident they won't last a dozen uses if your lucky

These work very nice, however I wish it came with replacements. I will not need the replacements yet but it would have been nice to have wire replacements in order to change them out so I wouldn't have to throw them out. They are sharp and slice through cheese easily and are the perfect size to slice and very lightweight.

It's not expensive, so I'm not upset. The product is sturdy but when you try to finish your slice of cheese it doesn't completely slice through. The tip of the handle (that holds wire) will not allow to finish the cut. It leaves about 1/8 inch of uncut cheese.

These work as expected. Makes it easy to cut up a block of cheese fairly easily. You can choose how thick or thin you want your cheese slices to be.I do not recommend these on a large block of cheese because you can’t cut all the way down in one stroke, you have to move the block of cheese and then pull the cheese cutter to finish making the slice.It’s hard to get consistently even slices with this, but it works better than my other cheese cutter. This works great for cutting cheese for a charcuterie board.

This 2 pack of cheese slicers is easy to use and works well. I do with it came with extra wires for if these ever go out, but luckily I have some extra from an old slicer I had, so maybe they'll fit. But this seems well made, so I hope the wires will last a good while. I'm happy with this.
