I cannot speak highly enough about this amazing set of bookshelves. Not only do they stack well, they are well made. The pieces easily assembled and once fitted, were extremely sturdy. I love that they can be build down for storage or travel. I also love how portable they are. I can easily move books from one end of the room to the other, or from desk to desk. This means that I can shelve my books according to category or study, then port the shelf to my desk as needed. I have on my nightstand for reading, and I swap out each set of books according to my routine. I absolutely LOVE these shelves and will be ordering more. They are great for students in small dorms, children or hobbyists. They'd be easy to paint, too.

It's exactly as described, a very compact bookshelf that stacks, but my biggest issue is the design as I had a few books slip through the shelf.Building it was fairly easy and I like how it fits under my desk. Just wish it had an extra rail in the back to keep items from falling through the back.

There 2 little book shelves work perfect for my desk that has minimal room. I donΓ’β¬β’t have space in my room for a full size book shelf (nor do I have enough books) so this works well! It was very simple to assemble and looks quite nice. I donΓ’β¬β’t have them stacked but they are definitely stackable.

I have too many books. I needed something to keep them in one place rather than on the coffee table, under the TV on the TV cart, or scattered on the floor around my desk. This is a good set to have although I do have some suggestions.--First, there are no written directions other than the pictures on the box (which adequately show what to do). There are no screws or tools needed tools so it's pretty cut and dry as far as how to put it together.--Theories always work better than reality. Although it looks easy, the pieces didn't go in as easily as I wanted them to. For example, if you don't have the front ones pushed all the way down into their slots, the bookshelf will slide, especially if you have bigger books that press against the wall. I had to move the shelves and try to push the pieces down further.--A soft-headed mallet would have helped quite a bit. I wouldn't hit it hard but if you use it to tap the pieces into place, it might make the job much easier.-- For the side parts, there is a side that is thicker than the other. The thicker side will go to the back.Overall, it does what I wanted it to. I would prefer something a bit sturdier but this will work fine. Although it is stackable, if you are planning to add more than two, you may need to figure out a way to anchor them to each other. I may do that anyway but for now, I can find my books and it is a great help for my office space.

I do like this stackable bookshelf. I am always looking for new ways to store my books. We have books literally all over the house. We are all big readers. This was a good solution for a really tiny space that I had. It comes totally broken up. And then you have to puzzle them together. ThereΓ’β¬β’s no nails or anything like that. It just literally fits in like a puzzle. They are sturdy enough to stand on their own, but the minute you touch them they start wobbling. I can put the entire series of unfortunate events on one shelf so that should give you a sizing of how much it holds. It looks really cute. It is holding a couple book collections so I am very happy with it.

Really brilliant idea. Solid blonde plywood with a very smooth surface. Takes a bit of oomph to get the pieces in their slots. It helps if you follow the directions printed on the side of the box. Really well packaged for protection. These are solid pieces and so portable. This design is destined to be standard for students & young people starting out and those bibliophiles who who have exceeded their bookshelves and need a bit more. I'll be using this to corral my to-be-read pile. Really great!
