These door stoppers/alarms are easy to set up, and are loud enough for anyone to hear (if set to alarm). I tested one of the pair, and it worked fine; I should really test the other as well. I'm not sure how sturdy they are, as I don't want to damage one by seeing how much abuse it can take. I expect that they're a relatively easy way to keep folks out of places that they know they shouldn't be poking around in, although I haven't sprung that surprise on anyone yet. So far so good, and I'll update this review if the need arises.

Very loud but able to adjust the spund. Used on my last criuse. Just needs batteries.

Works on inwardly opening doors. They work well enough to alert us to a breach of the doors opening. Gives sufficient warning of an uninvited breach of security.Sound could be more intense but if we stat alert it is sufficiently alarming.

This has been traveling with me over the summer, and it helps me feel so safe! I brought it on a girls' trip as well as a solo business trip. While I have not activated it on my own, nor has it been triggered, it makes me feel very safe. My husband turned it on and said it was VERY loud, which was enough comfort for me.I've had strange hotel experiences in the past, including someone opening the door until they caught the chain. I knew I needed something and the "viral" lock never fits the hotel doors for me, this stopper is the perfect size for travel and great for my anxiety. This is wonderful and universal - could even use in your own home or room! Definitely recommend.

This won't fit under the door properly to use as a door alarm. When it's wedged in to fit, the alarm goes off, instead according to door movement. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Je l'ai utiliser en fin de semaine dernière dans un B and B et croyez moi ça fonctionne à merveille. En plus de bloquer la porte, la personne du ménage a faite tout un sault et moi je l'ai entendu même dans la douche.
