I only use the collar when my favorite is running around the house so I can always when he goes in his cage for the evening I take it off. My ferret is a couple years old so I know his behavior and habits.The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s not a breakaway collar it is a plastic snap that stays in place so make sure you’re aware of that before purchasing. But it works great for what I need it for.
