A little tricky to put on but once you get the pin started it goes easier. I used them on my trailor hitch for my safety chains.

Used these to attach 8" J-hooks to a 20' chain and they are great. Plan to install a set on the tow hooks of my truck so the chains are easier to attach to.

The yakicag 1/4" Hammer Lock G80 Alloy Steel Coupling Link makes handling chain and cable much easier.I have a farm and woodlot. Having a bright red link on the end of a chain makes it easier to find the end. Having a larger opening than the raw chain allows connection to larger hooks. When I fasten this Coupling to something, I know it will not vibrate loose.

I have used these in larger sizes many times. These 1/4" are smaller but function just like the bigger ones I have used.
