Exactly as described. I had originally bought a two pack to use to hold down our pool stairs however our steps came with a built in weight in the steps so we are using them filled halfway with water to secure our winter pool cover with them on the ground and tied the pool cover to them with rope. Bought four more to use the rest of the way around the pool. Very thick and sturdy and easy to use. Seems to be of excellent quality.

I used 3 for my latter and it really did not move that much. Filling these are a pain as most sand is moist when you get it from a bag and it makes it harder to fill. The funnel for me was useless. I ended using a flexible plastic cup instead....which took longer. Overall it did the job it was intended for.

So it's a nice very thin container with a couple grab handles. The problem is it is hard to fill. I spent a long time filling. It's hard to use a funnel so I had to slowly pout the sand into the small fill hole. It comes with a silicon funnel that works great for liquid but not sand. Granted, my sand was a little damp but...the dry sand in a bag didn't flow into the fill hole much better. Once filled it was a excellent weight to use inside my pool stairs. Once in the pool, I slightly opened the lid to allow the air to escape then shut it tightly. So...not a bad buy. I have spent more on less!

Learned from past experience that at some point they will eventually break. Last time I filled them with sand, this time I filled them with pool salt since I have a salt water pool. This time when they do eventually give way I won't have a super mess to try and clean up. Good product.

Play sand is always wet/damp and it is impossible to get it into the tiny hole this has. Do not get for your pool. It also lets way too much water in once closed and in the pool. Algae grew within a month even with perfect chlorine levels.
