Nice trays with a great size for mixed drinks. If you follow instructions and take them out a minute or two before you need the cubes they do come out easier. So looking at the ad I figured the glass with the whiskey was just for show but I thought the same for the cube tongs. To my surprise the cube tongs were included. Nice setup and quick shipping.

These are super easy to use, including getting the ice out without it breaking. I used them to make the trending orange slice ice cubes for mimosas and they fit perfectly in champagne flutes.

I find I have to run a little water over the tray to break the bond and free the cubes. Also, if you let them sit out for a few minutes, the cubes are easier to release.

Cubes don't come out easy and they take longer to freeze

After learning that my town's water supply is not currently safe to drink, i begrudgingly shut off my refrigerator's automatic ice maker, tossed all the beautiful, continuously-replenished cubes down the sink and bought a set of these trays from Amazon to start making them the old -fashioned way because I can't live without ice cold beverages... I was annoyed. But actually these trays are aweome- One tray takes about one 16.9oz water bottle to fill - I stack them on top of each other in the freezer and when they are ready they are easy to shimmy out of the silicone mold (Nothing like the plastic trays I grew up with that would crack or would form too thick of a top so the ice itself wouldn't break no matter how you tried to twist the tray - or the aluminum trays that froze to your skin when you tried to carry them to the counter - and had the lever that broke all the ice cubes into splintered little pieces that melted as soon as a beverage was poured onto them) The ice cubes themselves are also the perfect size so I don't need a million of them ; and they don't melt immediately and disappear. I highly recommend these trays! I even considered buying. a second set just because I like them so much, but two trays are enough - When the ice has frozen i punch the cubes out into the container on the freezer door where the automatic ice used to collect and then refill the trays to start the process again.

I purchased this set for my cooling fan, so I didn’t mind if one of the trays were warped. This may be an issue for other potential customers. You also have to fill each cube section. They don’t flow from one section to the next.The trays also had a weird smell. Again. If these were for beverages, I wouldn’t want them. I soaked them in warm, soapy bleach water. Then, I soaked them in soapy water. The smell was faint at that point.EDIT: After using, there is no longer a smell.
