My lamp had the style bulbs that required the twist bulbs. The bulbs are costly and did not seem to last long. I found this adapter and it works great! I can now easily replace the bulbs with ones I keep on hand for my other lights.

Is 2016 I ordered 2 outside lights (front door and back door) online. I didn't read fine print and turns out they take those expensive bulbs with 2 prongs. I was about to buy 2 new lights but saw these. Works perfect! They now use screw in bulbs. I don't know about durability but I do know they were easy to install and work

The base adds enough length that your glass globe/bulb cover may not fit. Base works great though just be aware of added length.

I bought this adapter for my porch light and it was really easy to install! I love that this product exists so I can use my fun E26 base lights. I also think it is a good deal!

Very useful for retrofitting the CFL fixtures that were installed when the home was built. Then I use LED lamps of the size and shape and color I want. I’ve used this brand before for several years and they work perfectly.

This is a perfect adapter to convert a light fixture that uses GU24 CFL bulbs to E26 bulbs. I don't have to change out the entire light fixture and can convert to using LED bulbs! You just screw the adapter with the E26 bulbs into the light fixture. So easy to install. Would recommend.

I replaced all of the lightbulbs in our home with Phillips hue smart bulbs.Unfortunately the nine lights in the vanities in our three bathrooms require G 24 bulbsThe only GU 24 smart bulbs were twice the price of the regular bulbs and half the brightness.I thought I would have to face the expensive and time-consuming task of replacing all three light fixtures.I was very happy to find these adapters on Amazon. They saved me a lot of time and money.The standard base bulbs fit in the adapter socket quite nicely. Even with the adapters the bulbs are almost flush with the original socket .I have been using them for over half a year with no issue. very happy. Highly recommend these.

I replaced a few household lights with philips hue lightbulbs and was surprised to notice that most of my roof fixtures were GU24 type base so they wouldn't work. These adaptors solved the problem for me.Note: that this does add about an inch or so to the length of the base as a result so keep that in mind when purchasing, wasn't an issue for me though.
