These say they are garage lights, but a friend of mine used them in her basement. She gave me an extra one she had and I liked it so well I bought another set. They light up an entire basement. These lights are amazing and easy to use since they just screw into a light socket.

This light provides a very bright light, which is effective in dark garages and basements. It screws into an existing light socket, which makes installation super easy. I bought four more for around the house. The panels fold so you can dial in light if you want to. I highly recommend this light.

Overall I’m very happy with this product and it’s at a very good price point. I wanted these because I was looking for brighter lights in my garage. The most difficult part for me was installation due to the ceiling height. Anyway, after scaling a ladder (and yes I took the necessary precautions) I got two of these installed in a 20’ x 17.5’ garage. I flipped the switch at night and the place is lit up and they’ve easily illuminated that space. Had I the time, the ladder and inclination I’d have made use of the ability to direct the tilt angle of these. Areas for improvement might be the option to have a white colored plastic housing as opposed to black, and then in terms of the ability to direct the light, it would have been nice if there were registration notches so you could direct the tilt and thus the light from say 0, 20, 40, 60, etc degrees. I also thought the plastic didn’t feel super robust but once they are up these seem fine. I dropped a star not because they’re bad lights but because I think there’s one or two minor changes I’d make to make them a bit better. That being said, the lights illuminate a dark space very well and so I’m happy. If I could, I’d have given a 4.5 out of 5. I hope they last a few years as I think they’re pretty good overall. I can recommend!

I have bought other set's and brands of these and they don't last long and fail quickly,but these ones are great and still going strong.I just bought another set and they are working good.These are the ones to buy.4 in the garage and it is BRIGHT!

It's only been a few days, but I purchased two of these as a package and placed them into the sockets on the ceiling in my two-car garage. My garage is windowless. The light in my garage with these lights is very good. I have one of the stems facing down on each and the other four are all pushed upwards. So far, I am happy with these lights and a great price for two. Simple to use - just screw into the light socket and direct the lighting.
