I installed these on a 12 ft Sundolphin journey 12SS and a 10ft Sundolphin Journey 10SS. They fit well. To install on the sundolphin's, they have two metal screws that go through the original seat back to attach it to the kayak. I drilled/poked a hole through the seat back and used those two mounting holes to affix the seat to the kayak. You can see the bolts in the pictures. This worked very well and made the seat nice and stable and it did not slide around at all. I plan to add a larger SST fender washer because as I tightened the bolt down, the bolt head wanted to pull through the hole in the seat.On the green one (the 10SS), it was the first one I did, I mounted a couple new tie downs for the straps to connect to, but on the tan colored one (the 12SS), I saw that I could just connected the straps to the OEM connections, and that worked fine, so I did not add any extra tie down locations. Again, you can see the two different mounting styles in the pictures. Both worked equally well.The seat was very comfortable and provided very good back support, and I am very happy with the quality and performance of this seat.

I like the quality and texture of the seat; it also gives a lot of more back support than the stock seats that came with the kayak. The brass swivel eye snap looks sturdy and adds a bit of glamour to it all. I'll have to wait it out to see if it holds up to the claim that it's (salt)waterproof. I smeared some marine grease on them just to be sure.If I had to give some honest feedback, it's that the seating moves back and forth a lot. Wished that it had a layer of anti-slip material already installed on the bottom of the seating rather than having to source a anti-slip matt or something from someplace else.All in all this seat is very good for the price.

Very comfortable. There is a weight limit though before the straps break. Around 250.

These are really sturdy and comfortable. I was half expecting them to be flimsy, but they were actually very nice and high quality. Super easy to set up too. It comes with hooks to attach the back rest and some hooks to keep the bottom from sliding around. The little pack on the back of the seat was also very handy.

I used these to replace seats in 2 Wilderness Systems Tsunamis, when the original seats got eaten by mice. I removed the straps with the brass snaps and used 2 of the buckle straps to secure the seat back to the remaining plastic frames, worked great and more comfortable than the original Harmony seats. More easily removable for storage to prevent them getting damaged again.I will probably get another 2pack for my fishing kayak and solo canoe.Edit: here I am indeed buying a second pair. Just keeping it real although the back support is great, with any of these similar replacement seats us skinny butt folks need to consider adding a gel or memory foam cushion if we plan on spending hours out on the kayak.
