I checked with Ottlite to verify that my lamp needed the Type A bulb. Neither of these Chinese knock-offs worked, so I went to Ottlite and bought one directly from the manufacturer, albeit for a higher price.

The bulb to electricity in my old Ott light was failing. If I pushed it back together it might light up. I found these bulbs on Amazon and was able to toss the broken one. It took some muscle to make the attachment, just as it had to remove the old one, but I got it done without breaking either bulb.

And He said…let there be light! I was so excited when the two bulbs I ordered arrived. I now have two working OTT lights in my craft room. The one lamp has been non functioning for probably 5 years. My third OTT light is supposed to have a fold up and take it with you to conventions. Even from day one, it never held a charge. I will have to see if there is a chance to fix it without waiting five years.

The bulbs that fit in this particular light fixture usually cost 50 dollars each..so I was really happy to find these and they work perfectly!
