This stylus is a great upgrade for those Crosley phonographs, etc. that use this same cartridge. My daughter liked her “suitcase†player, but during heavy bass passages sometimes the needle would skip. We upgraded to these diamond stylus and no more skips. Also the clarity of the music is greatly improved. It was immediately noticeable. We received 3 styli (not 2 like the item description says), each rated at 1000 hours. That’s a lot of lp spins! This is an easy and cost-effective recommendation.

Bought a record player with a red needle cartridge and this one fit in as well. Have had it for a while and still works great. Quality is just as good as any other one I’ve used. Great for the price and you get two.

I don't think it's something that any manufacturer can fix it's just it's a small record player and the needle is small and I've got meat hooks for hands. If you're older make sure you get your glasses out so you can line it up right and pop them in.

I have a Crosley CR49-TA Keepsake and my god does it make a world of difference. NP1 replacement and should have been installed by the factory for sure. The new limitations of the sound are the cheap speakers inside but I have a plan to mod mine. Do yourself a favor and get this before you scratch up NEW record (TRON) with the starter needle on most Crosley units. You will need the ceramic version of these for the 78's. So far I am beyond impressed at the difference this cheap upgrade has made. I have not played this needle on anything but 33RPM's so keep that in mind if you are a 45 listener.

It fits the Crosley perfectly and is easy to install with a little manuevering and is a perfect upgrade to the factory installed needle.

Was initially thrown off by the size: it looked too small for my Electrohome RR75. But it snapped into place just fine. One of them has a bent stylus and I’m worried that it’s unusable. For the price I’m a little annoyed (one less star for that). But the sound is noticeably better now!
