I’ve been using the 2 Pack Reflective Wind Powered Scare Devices to keep birds away from my garden and patio, and they’ve worked surprisingly well. The wind-powered spinning motion, combined with the reflective aluminum, creates just enough movement and light to deter birds effectively. They’re weatherproof, durable, and require no maintenance, making them super easy to use. While they work best on windy days, they still help on calmer days. I was very impressed with the quality of these reflective scare devices when I received them. However, after attaching them to both sides of my house, they came apart after a few days. I then reattached them, using glue to hold the parts together but, after a few days, they once again fell apart. A waste of my time.

The base is very durable. The spinning reflector is pretty flimsy. Purchased this to deter woodpeckers that have caused extensive damage to my home. So far it has scared those birds away but will update if it changes. Overall, would recommend for a bird deterrent as the reflection is really bright and has worked so far.

Sorry to have to write this review, but this is garbage. I bought this and had it installed on my roof to deter the pigeons. The base remains on my roof but the shiny, spinning part flew off on the very first day! It's completely useless now. I just have the base sitting on the roof. I have a 2 storey house and I can't climb up the ladder to get to it, which is why I had to hire someone else to do it. Now, I've wasted money on both the product and labor! Get the other ones with the spinning plastic parts instead, which are sturdier.

This item was placed on the roof. It works great in keeping the pigeons away and off our solar panels. It has already held up to the winds and heavy wet snow in our rural area. When the wind catches it and it spins noise can be heard that helps in keeping animals away. Easily attached to the vents on the roof. Worth the money spent on it and the size of the pin wheel is great.

We had a problem with pigeons hanging out on our window air conditioner and making a huge mess. We tried plastic owls but with no luck. We installed one of these with heavy duty double sided tape on top of the AC and have not had any pigeons visiting since. It also looks great especially when it's spinning!

These are garbage. I live in the windy desert of Las Vegas. The pinwheels have unscrewed twice in strong wind. Durability is not what you get

I wanted something on the roof that birds wouldn't go near so I wouldn't have to spend time cleaning the roof. So I bought this windmill to keep the birds away, it uses the wind as a power source and reflects light for the purpose of repelling the birds, and it does. Money well spent.
