This ink roller does the job just like the original. Only downside was there were no instructions on how to install it. Fortunately, by paying attention to how the original came out, this replacement was easy to put in.

Not long ago, I purchased a secondhand 12-year-old Sharp EL-1750 printing calculator that had a fading ink roller, so I took a chance and ordered these… and I’m glad I did. The black and red inks showed up darker and sharper than before, thus breathing new life on an old machine. I would definitely order another set in the future.

I was so thrilled to find this ribbon for my old Sharp adding machine I was ready to buy a new machine, when I realized that my problem of encountering faded numbers on the tape was, all I needed was a new ribbon. Luckily one was still available for this model.

The fact it fit nicely into the calculator was a great plus. It made for easy installation. I am impressed by the printing and look forward to seeing how long it lasts. It was certainly much less expensive than replacing the calculator.
