I bought this to use a pulley to open a gate door on a new fence that we just built, and it works great. We do live in MN though, so time will tell. When it snows or we get a rainy/ice mixture and when that time comes, hopefully it won’t be frozen shut.

I got this along with some steel jump rope cable and a triceps rope and attached to my pull up bar and it works great. there are a few triceps exercises that have been impossible to duplicate with my dumbbells. I've very pleased with this pulley

This pulley is good used to hang 2 beach cruisers in a patio. The bearing runs smooth and can resist the weight for two bikes (so far) and installation was very straightforward. I can recommend this for like-minded uses. be sure to pre-drill studs before you drive in any permanent lag bolts to prevent splitting.

While this appears to be made of solid materials, the base was welded cock-eyed to the side pieces making for an inferior product! The bolts included are expansion bots for attaching to concrete so if you are lucky enough to get a useful pulley you may have to provide your own bolts. There is no bearing and the pin cannot be removed so if your cable has an end of any kind you will not be able to thread it through the pulley. The quality of this is very disappointing.

I set up a wieght lifting set up in my garage and these worked perfectly. I could find many aother uses for these as well. Nice looking finish on them also.

I'm using this pulley to lift up a tabletop and the help of this pulley pulling the table upwards on the wall has worked out well for me. The wheel spins very smoothly and quiet too. Using this pulley has taken the stress of of me to lift the table up weekly. Since I’m limited on workspace need to use every bit of space to make my shop work.The heaviness of the table is not as bad with this quality pulley and good hinges too..It's a good-quality item.
