I have a wide window and I dislike curtain rods that have to be screwed into the wall because my walls are plaster. These rods worked really well. They are easy to install, but because the opening is so wide I had to have somebody hold up the other end while I rotated it for tightening. It is a little bigger in diameter than I needed, but the additional diameter makes it sturdier. ( For reference, the diameter is less that the type of tension rods for shower curtains, but larger than tension rod you might use for a lightweight kitchen valance). It comes with two tension rods. Not sure if it would hold up to the weight of a heavy drapery panel, but for my lighter weight curtains it worked perfectly.

The rods are nice and they will work , but my curtains were too heavy for them. Also when it rains water enters the center of the rods and you get rust water on your curtains.

I'm in a newly built house n don't want to start putting holes in walls yet so got a bunch of tension rods for windows. So glad to find extra long ones for very large windows n 2 sets of sliding doors. Wish I had found these before I got metal shower rods. They look good, are sturdy, and very easy to adjust and place. Highly recommend.

This works well until it is extended to its fully advertised length. At this point, it is very flimsy and bends a little in the middle. On one of the rods, it was simply missing the plastic shroud in the middle. This allowed the two rods to appear in a non-finished way.

Easy and inexpensive solution for hanging curtains. Adjustable and tension rods are ridge enough to hold linen and sheer curtains. Good grip. Looks great with pocket rod curtains. Not for curtains with grommets. I would purchase again.

The second rod in this package did not work as a spring rod…. It would not hold tension to stay in place

Very simple to install and also light enough to handle it by oneself. It's unnoticeable and it stays securely in place.

This rod is exactly what I was looking for. It’s sturdy and fits over the large area I wanted to hang a valance. It was easy to assemble.
