I have been looking for a new filter for a small craftsman vacuum. This works great. I threw away the threaded piece that holds on the filter a long time ago so it was nice that this came with a new one.Filters fit just like the OEM ones.

The only issue I ran into was the filter lock not fitting and being an accurate replacement for my model shop vac. Luckily I found mines finally. The filters worked and fit fine. No complaints technically.

I like the fact that it really does a good job of filtering out the dirt. It is easy to install and should last a long time if cleaned occasionally.

I have the Vacmaster 501 the filters fit fine you can not use the plastic lock pieces but mine is fine , not sure why you would need to change the plastic lock everytime you replace the filter just a waste of money and plastic .
