Used to repair automotive exhaust system hanger, threads are good, rod welded well and is currently in service with no problems. Will buy more.

These are well made, with well formed threads, 304 stainless steel to stand up to the harshest environments and won't break the bank! I do a lot of fabricating and always looking for a deal on piece parts to keep on hand to keep jobs moving along. Threaded rod is just one of those things that gets used time and time again. I always try to use stainless where-ever I can because rust just breaks my heart and stainless solves a world of issues.You can't go wrong with these rods!

These are genuine 304 stainless threads rods with no burrs, clean threading and well-packaged. Note that ends are rough cut w/ 1/4" heat discoloration from being cut, so for optimal strength plan for max 11.5" final length. (If 100% optimal strength is unnecessary for your application then you just need to finish the ends). I subtracted a star because product photos showed finished ends without heat discoloration. Exactly what i needed — they'll last a long time.
