What's Headlight Ballast?
The function of the ballast is to help your headlight start quickly, provides the voltage needed to start the lamp and regulates the electrical current of the light once it is lit.
Why Replace the Ballast?
1.Moisture causes the ballast to malfunction and the HID bulb to burn out.
2.The light bulb flickers or goes out, or the left and right lights are not on at the same time.

Flickering headlights on a 2014 lexus GS350... At this price I decided to try replacing the ballasts before bringing it in. This set comes with the ballasts and bulbs. I recently replaced my bulbs, so just replaced the ballasts. It's an annoying though not difficult task (easier if you have small hands). I checked the headlights after replacing one ballast, and I *THINK* (read: did not formally measure) the new ballast (same bulbs both sides) was less bright than the original OEM ballast. But it gets the job done, and the price is great. 5 stars.

My driver side went out, and passenger aide was fine. But a mechanic friend recommended that I do both when I replace it. Thus, I Replaced my headlights on a 2014 rx350. Did it myself using a youtube video he linked me and these lights fit perfectly. I replaced both passenger and driver side. Passenger side is easier to get to since theres less things in the way. Driver side is a little harder but doable.Just a note, this is not for high beams, its just for regular headlights. If I could give it 10 stars I would

Plug and play on my Subaru. Can’t beat the price and it comes with 2 so I got an extra as I only needed 1. Would buy again. I keep my headlight on all the time and it’s been months without any issues!
