these worked very well on ice and the price is right. the cleats do wear off but for the price are well worth it

So spikes are a thing that you buy because you need them, and if they don’t work you could be in a dangerous situation. That’s how I found myself on a mountain in New Hampshire that was covered in ice with spikes that didn’t stick into the ground or stay on my feet.The fastening mechanism is laughable. The rubber straps that hold the spikes in place do a lackluster job keeping the spikes underneath your foot (let alone under the balls of your feet as god intended). By the time I got to the summit, I had noticed that I was slipping a lot and decided to check the spikes. Of the 5 spikes in each, both feet were missing 3 spikes. I removed them and put on the second pair that came in the package (bc I thought I came prepared). About a quarter of the way back down the mountain, I slipped and fell on some ice, and checked my feet while I was down. My left set of spikes had come off my foot somewhere back on the trail and was nowhere to be found nearby. The right was missing only two spikes this time around. That was enough for me to frustratedly take them off and essentially ski the rest of the way down the mountain. It took me twice as long as it should have to make that journey.Truly a bad product. I was cocky and thought that the simple design would make putting them on and taking them off easier than more traditional spikes. While I was correct, that came along with a lot of comprise that I can’t live with. Worth no stars. I want my money back

Bought 2 sets for family. Others’ shoe sizes were up to a US9 and worked and fit well. My US10.5 shoes were too big. The rubber couldn’t hold on to my shoes and slipped off numerous times while walking.

Got these after both me and my mom slipped on our driveway and got broken hands/sprains. It's been the iciest winter in our memory in our corner of the world and we couldn't afford any more injuries. They can be hard to put on (especially when you only have one hand each) but once they're on they don't go anywhere (we're size 10 and size 8 female US). Definitely feel secure walking my dog at night now!

There's no mention of shoe size range and it alluded to fitting all sizes, yet one short trek through snow and ice on my size 15 sneakers broke it. I'm giving two stars because size 15 is big for anything, but they should've stated a limit and they didn't. I'm sure it may work well with smaller sizes, but it's not rugged so buyer beware.

These are exceptionally small in the nose or toe of boot. Return costs more than the product.
