I had to return this item that I purchased for a friend. While walking with her on somewhat snowy roads the right one came off and wouldn't stay on. She wears a woman's size 8 which I think is pretty average.I was disappointed (and a little embarrassed) that my gift didn't work for her.

My adult daughter said these really kept her from busting her butt while so many areas were still covered in thick ice. Trails in the state park don't thaw fast so ice is a hazard. She said they gripped really well.

I rarely write reviews but these are amazing. For the price and ease of use it's great value. I have a large driveway on a slope and I use a snowblower. Normally I am slipping and sliding. With these it was like walking on dry ground and I hardly noticed that I had them on.

These spikes do the job.... I have only used them for 1 week and they keep me from slipping on ice when I go for my morning walks. However, about 2 hours after the first time i wore them in snow, they got all rusty in the house. Also, one of them keep sliding off my boots..... not sure why.But good value for the money I paid.... next time I might spend more to get better quality.... but so far so good!
