My 2012 Prius C 4 stopped spraying windshield wiper fluid. Thought I was dealing with a bad line or pump. Read somewhere about the failure of the "Check Valve" where fluid stops or only goes to the sprayer on one side. Apparently the valve can break or get clogged, preventing liquid from getting through.I ordered these as the price was right for two. Took a bit of effort to access the location of the valve (under the windshield, below the wipers) and access the tubes. Pulled the tubes off the old, put them onto the new, and tested. Worked immediately! Definitely check YouTube for instructions on accessing the valve in your vehicle.

I replaced one and realized it was cracked. Then I used the other one and the package and it was fine and I figured when would I need second one again, so I did not send them back. The one in the first package that seemed OK only worked until it was too late to return. Hoping The first order was a bad batch I did order Them again and hoping for the best. Easy to install ,fit well, And a good price. I did zip tie all hose Connections just in case they didn’t disconnect. I just really hope they don’t crack again

This check valve is exactly what I needed for my 2010 Toyota RAV4. It fit perfectly. My passenger side windshield wiper nozzle was barely spraying. After a few YouTube video tutorials, I decided to give the repair a go. The service center proposed $170 plus parts to fix it. Nope.I attempted to unclog the nozzle with a paperclip, a vinegar soak and even Dawn Powerwash (because Dawn cleans oil off of ducklings) to no avail. Then, I checked the hoses, which were fine. After all that (about 45 minutes of work), I figured it was the check valve.Once I figured out how to pull back part of the hood heat shield (I dislike those plastic button thingies), I removed the check valve, popped on the new one and voila! Repair (mischief) managed!$170 plus parts vs. $5.00 (for 2) and an hour of my time. I win!I don't know what to do with the second valve, but hopefully I'll remember that I have it when it's time to replace it again. And what's really cool is that the next time won't even take an hour. Take that service center!

So these are one way valves that is suppose to equalize the pressure. At first there indication on which hose end to use so I had to test out. Having the correct side on doesn't let fluid leave equally. One side would be fast while the other side would be at half pressure.

Stay away from these and buy OEM. They work at first but don't last more than 3 months. They seize up preventing flow. Upon inspection, the washer fluid that dripped out was brownish telling me the internals rusted. These are cheap compared to OEM for a reason.
